Damien Williamson is a communications and marketing leader at Mission Driven Finance, where he helps translate complex financial strategies into clear, compelling narratives that drive impact.

He previously served as Director of Communications at Premiums for the Planet, where he built the organization’s communications strategy from the ground up, growing its audience, elevating thought leadership, and positioning insurance as a powerful lever for climate action.

With a career spanning finance, journalism, public relations, marketing, and the nonprofit sector, Damien brings a strong mix of storytelling, strategic thinking, and business acumen. He holds an MBA from Bard’s Graduate Programs in Sustainability and a BA from Harvard University. A 2023 Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow, he has also advised Fortune 500 companies on sustainability and climate strategy.

His work is grounded in a belief that capital, when aligned with purpose, can be a powerful force for building a more just and resilient future.

Outside of work, you will find him skiing and snowboarding in the winter, mountain and road biking in the summer, and traveling in search of great food, new places, and memorable experiences, all best enjoyed with great friends.
