As Director of Investor Relations at Mission Driven Finance, Monique supports the capital raise efforts across our funds and structured products, and is involved in various governance structures across the Firm. She is committed to fostering relationships and collaboration across our investors and partners, and is passionate about weaving narratives that drive capital toward social and environmental impact.

Monique brings nearly a decade of experience in the finance, with expertise in financial planning, portfolio operations, investment due diligence, and ESG portfolio development. Prior to her role at MDF she worked at Merrill Lynch, where she spearheaded the creation of investment portfolios focused on women, human rights, and a sustainable planet.

Monique earned a Social Impact MBA from Brandeis University, and was selected as a Reaching Out MBA Fellow and a GreenFin22 Emerging Leader. She currently serves as the board treasurer for the Friends of Kaimuki Library and is a member of the Employee Ownership Committee at MDF. She also founded the Queer Impact Collective, a community of practice for queer-identified folks in the impact space who are working towards a more just and equitable world.

Monique lives in Honolulu, Hawaii with her wife, two kids, and a little chaweenie named Ziggy. You can find her in the mountains, ocean, or snuggled up with a good book (likely LQBTQ+ fiction).
