Project Description

Friends of Willow Tree

Our bridge loan allowed Friends of Willow Tree to increase access to affordable K-8 education for a student body that is over 70% low-income.

What They Do: Friends of Willow Tree is a Waldorf-inspired enrichment center for children in Kindergarten to 7th grade. Willow Tree strives to integrate intellectual, practical, and artistic development with imaginative learning.

What They Stand For: Friends of Willow Tree inspires a passion for learning and helps students develop the skills they need to develop their full potential. Their well-rounded approach enables them to lead rewarding and meaningful lives.

Impact Objectives:Willow Tree provides enrichment programs on a sliding pay scale. They needed a bridge loan to maintain low student-teacher ratios and arts programming ahead of state payments.
